Why this matters: Institutions need a cash leg that stays inside banking regulation - not a crypto stablecoin.

Lesson 1 · What a tokenized deposit is and is not

Your bank issues it; 4orm is not the issuer

A tokenized CAD deposit is a regulated on-ledger claim issued by your bank. It is still Canadian dollars, still your client's money, still subject to CDIC treatment as the regime matures.

It is not a stablecoin from a third-party issuer. It is not a crypto asset on a public chain. 4orm is not the issuer and does not take custody of funds.
